Adding SKU to existing Etsy listing

I am trying to set up a scenario that will add SKUs to existing Etsy listings. These listings have no variations, they are digital downloads listings. There is a similar topic here where someone explains that

“SKUs are tied to products, not listings. You have to create a listing before you can add products. Each listing can have one or more products.”

I don’t really understand this, the listing already exists, it has a single product which is a digital download.

It seems like the only make.com module that will potentially add a SKU is the “Update a listing inventory” but is this true? Can it actually add a SKU to my listing? I am not able to get this module to work because of an “Array expected” error that I am having trouble resolving.

Heyy @Joe_Miller Welcome to the community!

Can you share your scenario screenshots and configuration of all modules that are needed to be used in here so we can help!

Best,
@Prem_Patel

In this case I’m trying to update the SKU for the listing to “1234”. The listing does not have a SKU yet, and it is a digital download listing

@Prem_Patel and to clarify something, the listings do not have SKUs yet. Adding a SKU to an Etsy listing is optional. When you create a new Etsy listing it has no SKU. This is what it looks like in the Etsy Seller UI after creating the listing
