So I am now learning advanced badge and finished foundation, basic, intermediate and introduction to AI bots. I also have a picture portfolio of how my automation triage system works. It takes info from google sheets entered through google forms where Gemini processes it, puts a keyword in the content if it’s junk and deletes the offending row. If not junk, it categorizes them based on the information of the subject and creates a templated document where they’re sorted out into different google drive folders depending on the outcome. It also has some error handlers in case things go wrong and I wonder a bit, am I already truly ready for real automation jobs? Also, the filter labels in the scenario are like that because it’s based off a videogame.
Hi Justine,
It sounds like you’ve already spent quite some time working with Make and understand the logic behind building scenarios.
I’m not 100% sure if your question is specifically about the scenario you described or more in general.
But either way, I think you might be overthinking it a bit. At some point, you just have to start. That’s the only real way to know if you’re ready.
I’d suggest: try to get your first small clients or projects and see how it goes. And if you get stuck, you can always come back here and ask the community for help!
What is a real automation job? There is demand for simple form-to-CRM integrations as well as for complex solutions using UI, databases and multiple sub-scenarios to handle logic.
So… everything depends on the position requirements or the type of clients you want to work with.
