# Autocomplete Commonly-Used Functions in IML (Mapping) Fields!

## Here’s a nifty trick to replace text shortcuts with common functions & variables in the scenario editor

Did you know you can use an autocomplete tool like [Text Blaze](https://samliew.com/visit/text-blaze) to quickly fill in the IML fields in Make?

For example, I have set up a shortcut `{{mf` to add the map-first functions to the field, and even `{{rand` for the random item from array trick.

Notice how after typing a few characters the functions suddenly appear?

I also use it to replace `{{es` with `{{emptystring}}`, etc.
