Automatically Disabling Webhooks

I just got this message about a Webhook today: Webhook was inactive for too long and therefore was removed. Why would you disable a webhook automatically. Just because it’s not used in a while doesn’t mean that it should be inactive. Why would this happen?

I’m very upset at this!

Can you post your scenario? Maybe we can help you.

Hello @jmacman, thanks a lot for bringing this up in the community

First of all, I’d like to say that I’m truly sorry for the frustration you’re experiencing regarding the automatic disabling of webhooks. I understand that it can be quite inconvenient.

I just wanted to bring your attention to our help doc article that states that webhooks that remain disconnected from any scenario for more than 5 days will be automatically disabled.

On a positive note, I discovered a feature request in our Idea Exchange that addresses this issue to some extent. If you find it relevant, feel free to upvote :arrow_right: Notifications: when webhooks expire.
