Hello,

I’m facing an issue with my Make automation. Here’s my situation:

I am a professional pastry chef, and I regularly take photos of my creations to share on social media (Facebook, Instagram).

I wanted to create an automation so that when I take a photo (I use Google Photos as my photo gallery), I classify it in a “Pastry” folder with a short caption, then send it to ChatGPT for analysis. Based on the photo and description, it generates a copywriting for my post.

For your information, I use a Google Pixel 8 phone. The issue is that while the automation works correctly, the posted photos are slightly blurry, and I can’t retain the original photo quality.

I’ve tried several options—reducing the photo size, changing the source of the photo, etc.—but nothing has worked. Do you have a solution to easily automate a post with a photo and description while keeping the original quality of the photo?

Je fais face à un problème pour mon automatisation make.
Voici ma situation :

Je suis pâtissier professionnelle et je suis donc amené à prendre régulièrement des photos de mes créations et donc de les partager sur les réseaux sociaux (facebook, insta).

J’ai donc voulu créer une automatisation pour faire en sorte que lorsque je prends une photo (j’utilise google photo en guise de galerie photo), je la classifie dans un dossier “Pâtisserie” avec une courte légende, pour ensuite l’envoyer dans Chat GPT afin qu’il analyse la photo et la courte description pour qu’il me génère un copywritting pour mon post.

J’utilise un téléphone Google Pixel 8 pour info, et donc pour en venir au problème, l’automatisation fonctionne correctement, seulement les photos publiés sont légèrement flou et je ne retrouve pas la qualité initial de la photo.

J’ai donc essayé plusieurs option, réduire la taille de la photo, la source de la photo etc … mais rien n’a faire, avez vous une solution pour automatiser facilement un post avec une photo et description tout en gardant la qualité de la photo.

Hey @Chesnier_Quentin,

I would recommend adding the HTTP call to get the file from a URL and then using the result of this module to upload your content to platforms. Please let me know if that works or you.

Use HTTP Get a file module, to download your file and map the results to upload it to social media pages, if even that is not working out then use a combo of Google Drive - Upload a file and Download a file module to set it up.

Thank you for your replies. You can see in the attachment the various tests I’ve carried out and the rendering is still not sharp, the photos are quite blurred.
I don’t understand why I can’t get the same rendering in terms of quality when automating.

Merci pour vos réponses, vous pouvez voir en pièce jointe les différents tests que j’ai faits et le rendu n’est toujours pas net, les photos sont assez floues.
Je ne comprends pas pourquoi je n’arrive pas à avoir le même rendu en terme de qualité lors de l’automatisation.

Check if your google photos has any other image url outputs, we might be using the Preview image link.
