Bug - Empty value

:bullseye: What is your goal?

Fix a field bug

 What is the problem?

Hello,

I’m encountering an issue when creating an automation on Make within an RSS Feed module.

When I copy-paste the link, it shows this error:

“URL: The value must not be empty.
Maximum number of items returned: The value must not be empty.”

However, the fields are properly filled in.

:test_tube: What have you tried so far?

I managed to resolve the issue by completely recreating my module, but if I try to fill out a field more than twice, the error reappears.

:link: Create public scenario page

Hey there,

which field? In which module? Can you show some screenshots of the setup you have and the error it self?

Hi,

Here are the screenshots.

The error is not due to the URL being empty, its because max number of returned items at the bottom is empty.

Footer? What do you mean? I entered “1” but I get the same error message.
Could you show me an example?

Hello @VrtistWantIA,

I imported your shared scenario and everything works as expected.
Maybe it was a temporary UI-related error?
If you still experience it, try to save settings, ignore error, open settings once again and save.

Also - you used a module which lists all RSS items between selected dates limited to a specific number you set up.
Your scenario was scheduled to work weekly so I assume you want to fetch only new articles.

To do so you can change the RSS module to Watch RSS Feed Items - this is an ACID module and it will only fetch new records for each subsequent run.

Hello,

Okay, that’s strange. For now, I haven’t touched my automation anymore.

Thanks for your advice; I’ll put them into practice.

Let us know if it worked! And if your problem is solved, please mark the solution – it helps others find answers faster.

Have a nice day,

Hi,

I’ve already applied the changes you suggested, and it’s working well

So I no longer see this bug; it seems to be fixed

The solution, unfortunately, is temporary: you have to clone, delete, and start over to re-enter the information. However, the bug might come back.

Anyway, thanks Michal!

Have a great day!
