πŸ“š [Community Handbook p. 13] Customizing Community Interface

Hey Makers

Our mini-series on getting the most out of the Make Community has already taught us how to:

:person_red_hair: set up a community profile
:mag_right: look up info in the community
:speech_balloon: start a conversation
:arrow_right_hook: reply and react
:white_check_mark: mark solutions
:mailbox_with_mail: send DMs
:triangular_flag_on_post: flag posts
:calling: set notifications
:bookmark: bookmark posts
:face_in_clouds: hide or blur parts of your posts
:ballot_box: create a poll
:art: format your content

What a list, right? Today, let’s have a look at how you can customize the community interface so that it suits you the best.

:one: To change the interface setup, navigate over to the Preferences tab of your community profile.

:two: In Preferences, select the Interface option.

:three: Go ahead and customize the following.

  • How large or small you want the community text.

  • A couple of other handy options. My personal tip would be to have all external links opened in a new tab.

Sidenote: Dark Mode is currently not available in the Make Community.
