# Eden image to text onlky returns ID but no JSON

Hi, sorry for the newbie question but for something that does not have millions of options I find myself stuck already and makes we want to throw the towel.

Basically, I have a Ondrive | Download File module which passes the file to Eden | Extract Text from Documents. When simulating this in Eden directly this returns the result as JSON. In Make this returns just an ID. How do I get the JSON ?

Many thanks for a hint.

The screenshot shows the setup of the download and the Eden connector. There is not much and I have tried to check out all settings combinations.

Hi @Uwe and welcome to the Make Community!

I don’t have an Eden account, but looking at the documentation, it looks like you might need to make a call to the “Get Text Document Extraction Result” module with the ID of the response. Not sure which one, though. I suspect that might give you the JSON result.

Hi, thanks for having looked at my issue I have tried this out now; unfortunately the “Get Text Document Extraction Result” module just returns a different ID. Same behaviour is with the modules “Extract Data from Multiple Pages Documents” + “Get Multiple Pages Data Extraction Results”. When using the “Extract Structured Data from Documents” it directly replies with a result and not an ID. I’ll play around with this again and check also the documentation again I probably have missed something. Cheers.
