# Extract text content of pdf

A PDF file is a PRINT format, not a TEXT format.

As such, you will need to use a service like CloudConvert or Dumpling AI to convert it to text.

Try using the CloudConvert “Convert a File” module:

> Converts a file into a selected output format.
