Facebook Lead Ads (Instant) module: Cannot select Pages or Forms despite active permissions

:bullseye: What is your goal?

I am trying to use the “Facebook Lead Ads (Instant)” module to trigger my scenario, but I am unable to select any Facebook Page or Form from the dropdown menus.

:thinking: What is the problem?

I have successfully connected Make to Facebook and verified that all Lead Ads permissions (Page Leads, Business Manager, etc.) are active in my Facebook account. However, the dropdown menus for “Page” and “Form” remain empty or don’t allow selection.

:test_tube: What have you tried so far?

I’ve already tried re-authorizing the connection and checking the App Settings in Facebook Business Suite, but the module still doesn’t see my pages.

Just copy and paste your Page ID manually in the input field.

  1. You can retrieve your Page ID by opening Settings > Business assets > Pages, click your Page, and the Facebook Page ID is shown right there.
  2. You can also click your About section below the Page name, then Page transparency; your Page ID appears in that section as well.

What happens when you click “ID Finder”? Do you have any screenshots of it and any associated error messages?

Thanks for the replies, but here is the main issue: The ID Finder returns ‘No matches found’ even when I am using the account that owns the pages.

I have already tried:

  1. Manual ID: Pasting the ID manually doesn’t work because the “Form” dropdown remains empty.

  2. ID Finder: As mentioned, it cannot find any page associated with my account.

  3. Full Permissions: I’ve granted every possible permission in the Facebook Login/Auth dialog (Pages, Leads, Business Manager).

It feels like a ‘handshake’ issue between Make and the Meta API where my profile’s assets aren’t being listed at all in the module. Has anyone seen this ‘No matches found’ error even with active permissions?

One more thing: Could this be related to Business Verification? > My Meta Business Account is not verified yet. I noticed that some platforms (like Bitrix24) can fetch my pages without issues, but Make’s ‘Instant’ module seems to be more restrictive.

I need a workaround for the ‘No matches found’ error when the business is unverified, or is verification strictly mandatory now for the Lead Ads (Instant) module to work?

Try deleting and reconnecting it. You can also test it using a “verified” page to isolate this problem.

I don’t think this is because your account is “verified” or “unverified” since I’ve connected client accounts successfully on my end. I believe this is an access or permission issue.

Well, another workaround will be to use the Marketing API directly from Meta.

My friend, amazingly, like everything else I tried, it didn’t work… I tried deleting the Facebook module and creating another one from scratch, I tried going to Facebook, removing Make from the integrations and adding it again, I tried doing all of that again in an incognito tab, I went into the settings, inside the Meta Ads ad manager, and reviewed everything in my name, and yes, I have full control of all assets… I ran several tests using Gemini, which gave me several tips, but nothing works. I can only see the pages if I use the Watch Leads module, but I need the New Leads module, which is instant and uses fewer credits. It’s just what I need… I apologize for my English!
