create a gmail organisation automation that only runs and exactly runs when a new email comes in using a custom mailhook

:thinking: What is the problem?

i may have set up the mailhook wrong. right now it is the only thing in the automation and keeps running forever. i have no idea how mailhooks work and if i need to be doing something else

i set up the mailhook

Did you try it by sending an email to your email address in real time?

yes. in gmail settings when i try and ‘Forward a copy of incoming mail to x’, it doesnt let mesave it and says its the wrong address even though i copied it from the module

Here’s how to proceed:

First, when you add a forwarding address, you will receive a confirmation email via the webhook.

The email contains a link that you will copy into your browser and confirm the forwarding, save the changes, and you’re done.

Reminder: if your mail box is in French, please change it to English in the settings.
