"Google Sheets Watch Changes" Does Not Always Trigger

I followed the steps to configure the app script in Google Sheets. It is meant to check for changes in Cell B2 and activate a sequence.

I realised that this only works if I manually edited it in Google Sheets on Cell B2.

But when I use Glideapps (“text entry” function) to change the value of Cell B2, the value does change in Google Sheets, but it does not activate the make.com “Google Sheets Watch Changes” sequence.

Appreciate anyone’s expertise on this issue.

These instructions are such a pain. Despite setting up the Google platform, it still doesn’t work. Until a while ago, the watch updates module worked out of the box.
