How Can I Check What Automations Were Set Up on a Previous Scenario

What are you trying to achieve?

I paid a freelancer to set up automations for FB Ad Leads coming in for events I was running. I have used him previously and been fine. However I have just realised the SMS company have charged me more than £2,500 for text messages over the last 6 weeks and when I have looked they have been sending multiple of the same message to every lead and incorrect messages. They are saying it was sent via API meaning they received a request to send them. I really need for someone to look at this scenario and advise whether this was in fact set up by the person I paid or this text company are having me over in which case I will pursue them for my money back. Who can I ask to look at this for me please?

Steps taken so far

Contacted the SMS company who said it was an automation
