# How do I read the "open" value of a dynamic collection

Hi there,  
I’m calling an API to get a list of current days with stock data. I don’t know in advance the day’s date. How can I read the “open” element dynamically in a collection? How can I read a member in the collection without referring to the collection name?

Welcome to the Make community!

In your HTTP module settings “ **Parse response** ” field, select “ **NO** ” (default is NO).

This will allow you to add a wrapper in a Parse JSON module, or use a Text Parser to extract the data from the response.
