Hi,
I recently encountered an error with a Make script that caused incorrect data to be written to a source sheet and to QuickBooks Online. This was reported by a client and a fix was applied with a test run on 09/08/25. This was successful and the Make scenario was correct at that point (checked multiple times to ensure it was saved)
However, when I logged back in on 11/08/25 the scenario had ‘rolled back’ meaning that the error repeated. I identified this and issued a correction but very displeased that saved changes had rolled back.
Clearly I should have checked to make sure that fix was still in place - I’m reluctant to accept that testing a fix means it’s actually resolved now!
I can’t find any way of raising a support ticket to confirm what happened - is there a way of doing so here?
Thanks
That sounds frustrating — especially since you confirmed the fix was in place during testing. In Make, a scenario “rolling back” like that can sometimes happen if:
-
The changes were made in a different tab/browser session, and an older version overwrote the saved one.
-
Another user with access edited the scenario after your fix.
-
The scenario was reverted from a previous version due to an accidental restore.
Unfortunately, Make doesn’t have version history you can easily view in the interface, so it’s tricky to confirm exactly what happened.
For contacting support, you can raise a ticket directly from your Make dashboard by clicking the Help icon (bottom-right), then selecting Contact Support. If you’re on a free plan, you may need to use their community forum instead.
In the meantime, it’s worth exporting a JSON backup of any scenario after making changes — that way, if it reverts again, you can quickly re-import the working version without rebuilding it.
