Hello Fellow Makers,
I’m 60 years old so a bit slow in learning new stuff. I’m fascinated by this workflow automation stuff, the potential to do amazing stuff is mind-blowing. I’m trying to work on an automation that automates posting daily quiz videos on TikTok. It’s a work in progress but very slow going. I’m a retired aircraft maintenance engineer, now teaching English online and looking to make sense of Make! Love watching SF movies, aquaponics and anything to do with open source hardware.

I’m Jonathan, an entrepreneur based in Charlotte, NC, and I’m thrilled to be part of the Make.com community. My career spans multiple industries, but my focus is on real estate capital funding and SaaS development. I’m particularly passionate about automation and streamlining business processes to increase efficiency and profitability. I use platforms like Go High Level and Make.com to create solutions that help my clients manage leads, deals, and workflows with ease.

Right now, I’m working on automating real estate deal management systems and designing scalable solutions for SaaS-based businesses. Whether it’s connecting borrowers with capital investors or automating client interactions, I’m always looking for ways to innovate and simplify complex tasks.

Outside of work, I have a few passions that keep me balanced:

  • I’m a big fan of target shooting, which helps me stay sharp and focused.
  • Lifting weights is a daily ritual for me, and I enjoy pushing myself to hit new personal records.
  • When I’m not working, I love reading about business strategies and self-development. There’s always more to learn.
  • I’m also on a mission to one day fully fund the construction of the next Shriners Hospital for Children, a personal goal that drives many of my business decisions.

I’m excited to connect with fellow Makers and learn from this community. I’m always open to sharing ideas and collaborating, so feel free to reach out!

Looking forward to what we can create together!

My goal is to help people get the most out of their work and avoid wasting any efforts. Even if you love your job, it is still always straining, so I this feels like a worthwhile cause.

Love movies&tv series, dancing, anime, meeting new people, and just talking.

Hello fellow Makers!

I’m excited to finally introduce myself to this amazing community, albeit a bit late! I wanted to share my journey with Make and how I got here.

My Background

I started my career as a full-stack developer, working with traditional coding approaches. My path to no-code tools began when a client introduced me to Airtable and its API. This opened my eyes to the world of no-code solutions, but Make stood out to me in a special way – it allowed me to apply my programming logic in a new context while exploring endless possibilities.

My Make Journey

In 2022, I joined this community, knowing Make had immense potential but not having enough time to fully explore it. Following advice from community members and some excellent posts here, I decided to enrol in Make Academy. This turned out to be a game-changing decision! The academy gave me a deeper understanding of Make’s capabilities, and I went on to complete Make Partners Training up to level 5.

From Observer to Contributor

While I’ve been following the community discussions for a while, I recently decided to take a more active role. I’m proud to share that in just the past few weeks, I’ve:

Looking Forward

In today’s tech landscape, we have access to an incredible variety of tools and stacks. My goal is to explore these technologies and help make them more accessible to others. Make plays a crucial role in this mission, bridging the gap between complex integrations and user-friendly automation.

A Piece of Advice

To all Makers, especially those just starting their journey: I strongly recommend taking the Make Academy course. It’s an invaluable resource that will significantly enhance your Make experience and capabilities.

I look forward to collaborating with you all and continuing to learn and grow together in this community! :rocket:

P.S. Better late than never for introductions, right?

Hello, fellow Makers!

I’m Keith, CEO of Funnellosophy Media Group and host of The AI-Powered Marketing Show. I started using Make to create simple automations for my podcast, and now, I’m hooked—I even dream in scenarios!

My path to digital marketing, podcasting, and automation is a bit unconventional. After a 23-year career in law enforcement, with the last 13 years as a Detective Sergeant leading our investigative division, I retired from a job I loved. I almost accepted a position as a Special Agent with the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office but decided to pursue something entirely new instead.

With a lifelong interest in starting an online business, I launched a Shopify store selling bow-tie dog collars. But I quickly learned the hard way that ā€œif you build it, they don’t necessarily come.ā€ I knew nothing about SEO, product sourcing, Google Analytics, or funnels. That changed when I read Russell Brunson’s Dotcom Secrets, which sparked a passion for digital marketing. I absorbed everything I could, but still felt directionless with all this new knowledge.

For seven years, I freelanced as a funnel designer in ClickFunnels. I wanted to create something of my own but was torn between being a designer, digital marketer, and podcaster. Then, when OpenAI released ChatGPT, I was instantly hooked. I dove headfirst into AI and discovered Make, which felt like lightning in a bottle. I loved building funnels and funnel hubs, and I saw the potential for AI and automation to supercharge my clients’ funnel hubs.

Enter HubFusion IQ, a program that leverages AI and advanced automation to maximize funnel hub performance.

I’m excited to continue this journey and connect with each of you along the way!

Cheers,
Keith

Hi everyone!
I’m Fisayo, an accountant. I discovered automation after being frustrated by the number of repetitive tasks I had to handle every day.

I initially wanted to start with Zapier, till I read about Make and fell in love with the UI.
That was how Make became my go-to no-code automation solution.

Offering automation consulting and assistance can be a reliable side hustle for me. So I intend to build Make skills and use it to improve workflow efficiency for businesses.

Asides work, I love watching YouTube videos and reading books to unwind.

I’m so glad to be a part of this community!

Hello @Fisayo,
Welcome to the community.
As you’ve mentioned about starting your journey in Make.
I strongly recommend you start with this official academy course first.

Then go for this partner training.

During the training run those scenarios for practice and also check help docs where more details about specific things.

Hi everyone!

I’m Avana, a university student in construction from Madagascar. I’m new to automation and currently exploring this exciting field through the courses.

In just three weeks, I’ve made it to the advanced module, thanks to the clear and insightful explanations. (I could have made it a lot faster but my busy schedule wouldn’t allow me haha)

I’m eager to learn more, connect with this community, and continue expanding my horizons!

Hi all,

I’m Silvia from Australia and just made my first working scenario.

I like the visual presentation of Make scenarios, but I sometimes feel it is more complicated than the command-line equivalent (e.g. a bunch of curl requests). You definitely need to be a coder to be able to make anything in make that’s more than a simple API connection! But I am determined to stick with Make as I think it’s more maintainable. Let’s see how I go.

Hi people,
I’m Ivan from Serbia, software developer by day, maker by night.
I’m just making some automation for my website/blog content, learning AI on the way, because, naturally, I built hundreds of websites and applications, but personal never gets attention.

Hi!

I’m Jay and I came here because I run a trails/outdoors advocacy film festival on the most show-string of budgets as a solo act for most of the year. I use automations to free up as much time as I can for enjoying the work and getting outside myself from time to time. Thanks in advance for any help!
