I’m looking for someone to help me fine-tune my existing automated workflow for generating and burning subtitles into videos.
Current Workflow:
As shown in the attached images, my process uses Google Drive, Google Sheets, and Bookoly (I’m open to switching Bookoly to CAPTION or another similar tool if needed). The workflow is mostly working as I want:
The system automatically generates subtitles for a video and uploads the subtitle file to Google Drive.
I want to manually edit a few words in the subtitle file (for example, to fix typos) after it’s uploaded—without changing timings or formatting.
After editing, I’ll place the corrected subtitle file in a separate folder.
The second scenario in my workflow should then automatically pick up the edited subtitle file from this folder and burn the corrected subtitles into the video.
Where I Need Help:
Everything is already set up and working except for this small adjustment:
I need the process to allow for quick manual corrections to the subtitle file before burning, and for the workflow to use the edited file (from the designated folder) in the final burn step.
