# Nested replace() bug

Hello, I’d like to replace the character ) with an empty string, but it doesnt work as make doesnt read it as a string (note that for the “(” it works fine):

Hi @Thiago_Borja,

Look at the `replace()` functions you inserted carefully, you have one to many `;` and `)`
