Not able to create a webhook to a facebook page

:bullseye: What is your goal?

I am trying to create a webhook to connect to my Facebook form on a page

 What is the problem & what have you tried?

I am not able to connect to a Facebook page in a webhook. I have rechecked all permissions for myself (admin) and for make.com on Meta.

In the field Page when I put the name of my page it used to earlier show a dropdown value of all pages that I own. Make is no longer showing my Facebook Pages in a dropdown.

Hi Saket,

I understand you’re having trouble connecting your Facebook Page to a webhook in Make. This is a common issue that usually relates to Facebook permissions or connection configuration. Here are some steps to troubleshoot:

1. Re-authenticate your Facebook connection in Make:

  • Go to your Connections in Make
  • Delete the existing Facebook connection
  • Create a new connection and make sure to grant ALL requested permissions during the OAuth flow
  • Pay special attention to granting “pages_manage_metadata” and “pages_read_engagement” permissions

2. Verify Page Role:

  • Make sure you have Admin role on the Facebook Page (not just Editor)
  • Go to your Facebook Page Settings > Page Access to confirm

3. Check Business Manager Settings (if applicable):

  • If your page is linked to a Business Manager, verify the Make.com app has proper access
  • Go to Business Settings > Data Sources > Pages and check permissions

4. Facebook Pages Dropdown Issue:
The dropdown not showing pages is often a caching issue. Try:

  • Clear your browser cache
  • Log out and log back into Make
  • Try using a different browser or incognito mode

5. Alternative Approach:
If the webhook continues to have issues, consider using the “Watch Page Posts” or “Watch Lead Ads” modules instead, which often work more reliably than webhooks for Facebook Pages.
