Any update on this? I’m still waiting for an answer on Reddit support team. Hopefully Make can find a workaround to ensure our Reddit scenarios work

a similar report from the Make community, Reddit has changed their API authentication, making the OAuth credentials used behind the scenes invalid. That’s why it suddenly stopped working, even if you haven’t made any changes for several months.
I found a workaround using Watch RSS feed items, using my Reddit user: https://www.reddit.com/r/{{reddit}}/new.rss?user={{username}}

Do you have an instruction how to get OAuth credentials from Reddit? Looks like there is no clear way to do it, the API is closed.
I got the same email and I also can’t figure out how to get OAuth credentials for Reddit to get my Reddit automation running again.
Been a month, any word on getting this resolved? Still getting the bad request (reddit.com)

— invalid client id. And that begging Reddit for OAuth credentials isn’t going to happen either, according to Reddits response to me.

Well, since Reddit responded to my application with “We are not approving any requests for Oauth credentials at this time.” Could you further explain how in the world this could possibly be accomplished if you are unable to provide their module anymore with shared credentials?
Reddit’s shared OAuth credentials have been retired, as you know. I attempted to create my own OAuth application, but Reddit now redirects all new app creation to the Responsible Builder Policy and rejects personal requests.
My use case is my Make scenario that posts my own WordPress content to my own subreddit using my own Reddit account.
Can you advise what Reddit approval path Make now recommends for customers creating new Reddit connections?
