One of the modules of my scenario only works with domains, not URLs, so I need to get an URL and remove the “[https://www](https://www).” from the beginning and the “/” from the end in order to make it work.

How can I do this?

Hi @checkstore sounds like you need to use a substring function. I had a similar situation where I needed to remove the file extension from file names. I was able to put something together after watching a tutorial posted on this channel: [Integromat Tutorial: How to Use the Integromat SubString Function with 4 Example Use Cases - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksA0jMhuODY)

I’m not affiliated with them. Just good information there and was super helpful to me. 🙂

Here’s the help doc on the substring function: [String Functions Help Docs | Integromat Help Center](https://www.integromat.com/en/help/string-functions#:~:text=substring%20(text%3B%20start%3Bend))

Hey @checkstore ,

Good question! Take a look at Regex, it’s very powerful:

> Last updated: 2024/14/01 In regular cases it’s very usefull to use Regex (or Regular Expressions) if you want to extract or replace data in some text. When there always is a similar pattern in your text data, regex is ideal to use. But how can you use regex? I’ve used

(?\<=www.).\*$

So a URL like this “[https://www.checkstore.com.br](https://www.checkstore.com.br)” became this “checkstore.com.br”

I usually use the replace function for this

{{replace(“www.website”; “www.”; “”)}}
