# Roundig up a number

Make’s [round](https://www.make.com/en/help/functions/math-functions#round--number-) function only rounds a decimal the closest integer.

How to round up for example 4997 to 5000?

Use math functions:

`{{round(2.number / 1000) * 1000}}`

Thanks for the quick reply. I will do so, but hoped there would be a more convenient solution than writing inline math for each case. I should add a feature request for Google Sheets like [roundup](https://support.google.com/docs/answer/3093440) function. 🙂
