What is your goal?
I’m trying to connect my test instagram and facebook to an instagram for business module but I can’t get the connetion to work for the life of me. I tried multiple time. But still nothing work but today when i open make.com it just connected like nothing happened. I want to know what cause it? And how to fix it in the future. (I’m scared if this happened to my future client and the work will be delayed and I feel like if I got nothing to report back to the client I would seems unprofessional)
What is the problem & what have you tried?
The tab “Page” in the Instagram for business module (After clicking create webhook) show “No data available” yesterday but as for right now its working fine. I’ve done the normal procedure. Making a business FB and IG account and linking it together, Create a webhook, Adding my connection, Linking it to make.com, Clicking save, and the Page tab return “No data available” (Yesterday). I want to know what happened, what cause this, how did i manage to fix it unknowingly or do i just need to wait for it to work. (But yesterday I’ve been trying for around 4 hour so i kind of doubt that the issue is solve by waiting)
UNCERTAIN on the exact cause: because the Page field works now and there is no error code or failed request from yesterday, nobody can prove whether this was Meta permission propagation, a temporary API problem, or stale connection state. Waiting may have coincided with recovery, but it did not diagnose the cause.
Make’s current Instagram for Business documentation says that when no Pages appear, it is often because the Facebook Page is not properly connected to the Instagram Business account. Check these three items first: the Facebook Page is connected to the Instagram account in Meta Business Suite, your Facebook user has admin-level access to that exact Page, and the Instagram account is a Business account. Make says Creator accounts are not supported by this app.
Next, open Facebook Settings > Business integrations > Make and confirm Make is allowed to access that exact Page. Make’s Facebook troubleshooting guide specifically points to this Page-access setting when Pages are missing from a module dropdown.
In Make, go to Credentials > Connections, find the Instagram for Business connection, and run Verify. Make’s connection guide says Verify tests whether the connection works. If it fails, use Reauthorize and follow the authorization prompts again. The guide lists a blocked reauthorization popup, expired or revoked tokens, changed permissions, and a temporary outage as possible reasons reauthorization can fail.
For a client incident, record the exact time, Make zone, connection name, Page name or ID, a screenshot of the empty Page field, and the result of Verify before changing anything. That gives you a defensible status update: “At the recorded time the Meta Page list was unavailable; account linkage and Page access were confirmed; connection verification passed or failed; the next step is reauthorization or Make support.” If the account checks pass and Verify is green while the list is still empty, stop rebuilding the scenario and send that evidence to Make support.
I’m pretty sure that it’s not a problem on my end. I didn’t change a thing before and it started to work out, and I’m not sure that its a problem on meta end too.
