Scenario 1 – Subtitle Creation and Editing
This workflow automates the process of generating subtitles for videos:
- Google Drive: Searches for the relevant video file in your Drive.
- Google Drive: Downloads the video file.
- Google Drive: Gets a shareable link for the video.
- Bookoly: Uploads the audio or video file to Bookoly for subtitle generation.
- Bookoly: Waits for Bookoly to finish generating the transcript/subtitles.
- HTTP: Retrieves the generated subtitle file.
- Generate Title For Video: Uses AI (like ChatGPT) to create a suitable title for the video.
- Google Drive: Uploads the generated subtitle file back to Drive.
- Google Sheets: Updates or deletes a row with relevant data.
- Store Variables: Stores the results for further use.
Where I get stuck:
The subtitle file generated often contains a lot of duplicated text, making it very difficult to edit specific words. I’m looking for a simpler way to correct only the words that need fixing, without dealing with timings or formatting.
Scenario 2 – Burning Subtitles into the Video
This workflow is designed to take the edited subtitles and burn them directly into the video:
- Google Drive: Searches for the video file.
- VIDEO URL & VIDEO TITLE (Google Sheets): Retrieves the video URL and title from a spreadsheet.
- Google Drive: Gets a shareable link for the video.
- Bookoly: Adds the edited subtitles to the video.
- Bookoly: Waits for the video with burned-in subtitles to be generated.
- HTTP: Retrieves the processed video file.
- Router: Determines the next step based on conditions.
- Google Drive: Uploads the final video with subtitles back to Drive.
- Tools: Performs additional actions, like waiting or processing.
- Google Drive: Optionally deletes files/folders to clean up.
- TikTok Upload: Optionally uploads the final video to TikTok.
Where I get stuck:
At this stage, Bookoly fails to burn the edited subtitles into the video, despite multiple attempts.
If anyone has solved these issues or uses a different tool/module for easier subtitle editing and burning, I’d love to hear your recommendations!
