The state of current Database solutions

Hi there, Makers :waving_hand:

Just a quick question:

With Agentic AI being around the corner and AI being absolute part of daily life:**
How are you currently thinking about databases and handling data in general?**

I’m asking mainly due to the fact that we’re about to launch a new version of our platform and I want some insights into features, expectations, pricing and trial conditions and other stuff.

The goal is simple. We want to build the “go-to database for Makers”.

Most of Makers is still using spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Excel) and then Airtable or Notion - both great tools, but they were not build as databases for automations.

All of those tools are ment to hold data, work with it, but when it comes to automations you’ll hit ceiling or go broke before you set and run complex scenarios or two-way sync.

We, at Boost.space, want to change that.

We want to provide a database platform that every Maker will fall in love with. Database with 10mil record/row limit, simple yet powerfull API, batching options to save operations, built-in AI fields and features to help you work with your data and much more.

So… back to the question: How would your ideal database for automations look like? What are the top 3 features that came to your mind right away?

Thank you all! We are current about to launch closed beta and our public release is scheduled on Jan 2026. You will be able to connect your Make accounts and build Single Source of Truth for your automations and AI agents in minutes.

Thanks to anyone sharing their insights and Make for this wonderful community :raising_hands:

For Make auto mations, my must, haves are: reliable API + webhooks, efficient bulk up serts for 2, way sync, and clear schema/permissions, curious how Boost.space will handle this at 10M+ rows.
