# Using Claude within New Agent

### 🎯 What is your goal?

Configure make agent to accept a higher output token ceiling when using Anthropic models.

### 🤔 What is the problem & what have you tried?

Make agent fails/errors when output gets truncated due to max token exceeded, at 8192. The max token setting on beta make module is nolonger available and web searches suggest I not use make module and do direct http calls, which won’t work as I have make scenarios attached as tools.

### 📋 Error messages or input/output bundles

The response may be incomplete — the model reached its output token limit. Try lowering reasoning effort or simplifying your prompt.

BTW, error occurs with both Sonnet 5 and Haiku 4-5. They are connected via OpenRouter.

Hello,

While creating agent with OpenAI or Anthropic direct connection there is `Maximum output length (%)` parameter. If it is missed with `Other Providers` connection please create support ticket.
