Zendesk Connection oAuth failing after successful authentication - "Cannot parse data"

I am trying to setup a connection between Make and Zendesk.
Therefore I use the “Zendesk” module in my scenario. Upon configuring the module, I am creating the connection, using the oAuth Client I already created in Zendesk (exactly as described in Zendesk - Apps Documentation).

I verified that I the correct connection parameters and when saving the connection, I receive the authentication dialog, in which I allow access.

Once this happened, the dialog “Create a connection” pops up again displaying the following error message:

Error
Cannot parse data
Cannot parse data

I feel I am stuck as there is no more information from the Make UI. I have already tried to create a different oAuth Client with different credentials in Zendesk and tried again, but without success.

Is there anything else I could try, other than creating a support ticket? Any other location of logs that would show which data it is failing to parse? Anyone else having such a setup where it works (or fails as well)?

Any input is highly appreciated!

Welcome to the Make community!

Looks like this is a bug with the module connection.

For technical issues or bugs like this, directly contacting support can often lead to a faster resolution. Make support has access to your specific account details, scenario and scenario logs, server-side logs, and internal tools and resources, which allows them to investigate more thoroughly than what you have access to. Additionally, sharing potentially sensitive information about your account, scenario variables, and output bundles might not be advisable as it is a public forum.

You can open a new ticket here, or if you are unable to login for some reason, you can create another new free Make account to access the ticketing system (which is only available to logged-in users). After submitting a new ticket, you will receive an automatic confirmation email with the subject “Ticket Created” in the subject. If you do not receive this, try sending the ticket again.

If you manage to get your issue resolved with support, we’d still love to hear about it! Sharing your solution on the forum can help others facing similar problems.

Hope this helps! Let me know if there are any further questions or issues.
