Zoom "complete recording" never gets triggered

i connected to zoom. the triggerd gets triggered when a recording is completed (see image) but it NEVER gets triggerd. About 3 Recordings are finished since the scenario is active, but not a single time it worked.
If that is important, its the master-account. so we have 10 zoom accounts and we attached the master-account (which should get triggered every time when a new recording of any of the accounts are getting triggerd.?)

Welcome to the Make community!

According to Operation: recording.completed and Meetings: recording.completed documentation, do you have these prerequisites?

  • A Pro or higher plan.
  • Enable Cloud recording on the users’ account.
  • Enable Event Subscriptions for your Marketplace app with:
    • A valid Event notification endpoint URL.
    • The All Recordings have completed subscription must be enabled under the Recording event.

Also, is your scenario switched on, and set to “Immediately”?

I hope this information assists you. If you have any more questions, just ask.

I think its a yes to all question. I am one further, indeed the automations gets triggered, but ONLY if the master-account itself gets a new recording all others dont. That is a bit uncomfortable, because that means, i have to create 10 szenarios for just on purpose. additionally it doesnt work because all the other user accounts on zoom do not have the permission and when i give them ALL permisions (what i dont want) then it doesnt work. I know this is sth. that is related to zoom and i already asked in there forum. But my question is, is there anything i can do, that make gets triggerd with the master-account? (In the masteraccount itself i see ALL recordings of the whole company).

best regards

Marian

According to the Sub Accounts Field Guide in the official Zoom documentation,

Because every sub account is a unique environment, settings and configurations on the master account do not automatically apply to sub accounts.

and this blog post “Programmatic Zoom webhook management” by Zoom,

Zoom now offers API endpoints that let developers programmatically manage webhook subscriptions on a per-user or per-account basis. This offers key benefits such as:

  • Granular delivery: Send specific events only to the users or accounts that need them

This is expected behaviour by Zoom.

As suggested by moderator Gianni on the zoom forum,

In the Features tab you have selected to receive events from All users in the account and subaccounts?

Have you tried that yet? Hope this helps you move forward.
