Text in, text out: Claude Sonnet 5.5 accepts text input and returns text output for scenarios that classify, enrich, review, or draft from written material.
Up to 1,000,000 tokens of context: Send document sets that fit within Anthropic’s documented context window for review workflows.
Up to 128,000 tokens of output: Prepare substantial text briefings or draft materials for editorial review.
Migration review required: Anthropic documents five breaking changes from Claude Sonnet 5, so review prompts and tool behavior before migrating existing implementations.
