Your workflows can now comment, build, and attach in Airtable with 12 new modules
Your Airtable base is where your team talks, plans, and keeps its files. Now you can automate all of it: react to a comment, set up a new table, or attach a file, as steps in your scenarios.

What’s new in the Airtable app in Make
-
Comments (new group): Create a comment, Update a comment, Delete a comment, and List comments, plus Watch new comments, a polling trigger that starts a scenario when a comment is added to a record. -
Schema (new group): Create a base, Get base schema, Create a table, Update a table, Create a field, and Update a field. -
Upload an attachment: Now in the Records group, so you can add a file to a record. -
Guided filtering in Search Records: Pick a column name, operator, and value, and combine conditions with AND and OR. You can still write Airtable formulas if you prefer.

Airtable module use cases for Make automations
-
Keep context on the record: Add a comment to an Airtable record whenever a deal, ticket, or order changes in another app.
-
React to your teammates: Start a scenario when someone comments on a record, then send the details to the right person or channel.
-
Set up a workspace for every project: Create a base, tables, and fields when a new project or client is added.
-
Check the structure before you map: Read the tables and fields in a base with Get base schema, then use them in later steps.
-
Attach files automatically: Upload a generated report or a signed document to the right record.
