Array Showing Empty in Filter

Can someone please explain to me why my array is not showing up in the filter? I don’t see what I’m doing wrong.

INPUT
[
{
“name”: “PRODUCT ARRAY”,
“scope”: “roundtrip”,
“value”: [
“NEW GM Pro Subscription”,
“MiDIculous 5 FREE Player”
]
}

OUTPUT
[
{
“PRODUCT ARRAY”: [
“NEW GM Pro Subscription”,
“MiDIculous 5 FREE Player”
]
}

You’re using a “Text Operator: Does not contain” in your filter. Instead use an “Array Operator: Does not contain”

Yep…I tried an Array Operator as well and still doesn’t work.

Welcome to the Make community!

For further assistance, please provide the following:

1. Screenshots of module fields and filters

Please share screenshots of relevant module fields and filters in question? It would really help other community members to see what you’re looking at.

You can upload images here using the Upload icon in the text editor:

2. Scenario blueprint

Please export the scenario blueprint file to allow others to view the mappings and settings. At the bottom of the scenario editor, you can click on the three dots to find the Export Blueprint menu item.

(Note: Exporting your scenario will not include private information or keys to your connections)

Uploading it here will look like this:

blueprint.json (12.3 KB)

3. And most importantly, Output bundles

Please provide the output bundles of the modules by running the scenario, then click the white speech bubble on the top-right of each module and select “Download output bundles”.

A.

Save the bundle contents in your text editor as a bundle.txt file, and upload it here into this discussion thread.

Uploading it here will look like this:

bundle.txt (12.3 KB)

B.

If you are unable to upload files on this forum, alternatively you can paste the formatted output bundle in this manner:

  • Either add three backticks ``` before and after the code, like this:

    ```
    input/output bundle content goes here
    ```

  • Or use the format code button in the editor:

Providing the output bundles will allow others to replicate what is going on in the scenario even if they do not use the external service.

Following these steps will allow others to assist you here. Thanks!

Hello!

It’s a known issue. Make Product Team is on it. We’ll get back to you with updates as soon as possible.

A possible workaround would be

[ProductName]

Text Operators: Does not match pattern (case-insensitive)

\bjoin([ProductArray]; "|")\b

Thanks for the update. This is a pretty major issue in a ton of my scenarios.

The scenario execution is still ok, it’s only a display error when you want to monitor

Ahhhh……I see. So the filter is, in fact, working correctly.

Yes, assuming your filter is ok, having Empty is just a display issue.
By the way, the suggestion of @Khurram_Aziz is still valid, you needed to use an Array operator.

Best regards,

Hi,
Have you tried with an inline function ?
Like : contains(42.PRODUCT ARRAY;5.Product Name) and test if it returns true or false
Regards

No I haven’t. I’m waiting for a fix. I hate REGEX nomenclatures.

Ok, anyway [Benjamin_from_Make] said that it was only a display issue.
And the “contains” function is an array function integrated in Make not a regex one.

Regards.
