Can I make it post on my reddit automatically?

Hi,

I’m trying to set up an automation workflow in make.com to post directly to my Reddit user profile page (www.reddit. com/ user/ username/). I’ve successfully automated posting to regular subreddits, but I can’t figure out how to post to my own profile page.

I have these questions:

  1. In the Reddit “Create a Post” module, what should I input in the “Subreddit Display Name” field to post to my profile instead of a subreddit?

  2. Do I need any special permissions or settings in my Reddit account to enable this?

  3. Has anyone successfully automated posting to their Reddit profile using make.com? If so, could you share your configuration?

Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to the Make community!

If your profile link is /u/username, try using u_username in the subreddit name field.

That’s all. I just tested that it works.
