Hi guys,
I would like to know if there is a free alternative to chatgpt to use it in my automations.
I heard that groq.ai is an alternative but it’s 37 bucks to buy so it’s not really a free alternative.
I tried hugging face also, but it’s nowhere near to chatgpt and it cant write me a few hundred word response, it somehow stopps with writing it. I don’t know if I made something wrong but it doesn’t seem to work well.
Hi @Aaron2,
You get what you pay for, if you pay zero then the quality is also zero.
You could try Anthropic Claude, which has a free option: Pricing \ Anthropic
Cheers,
Henk
Thanks
I understand it
I was just wondering if there was something I didn’t know about
You can use the Groq API via a HTTP request. no need to buy the $37 app. Not as user friendly but remains free
I have a Groq module that you can install https://us1.make.com/app/invite/bb3e289f1469852d9b21291123d5cd74
It includes chat completions (including native JSON support), translations, and transcriptions.
I finished it this morning. If you can give some thumbs up feedback that it works as expected, I’ll ask Make to publish it as a public module (I need to write a page of documentation first).
If the URL above doesn’t work, try changing “us1” to your Make subdomain, e.g eu2.
Any feedback or gratuitous praise is welcome lol.
