Difference between Facebook Pages and Facebook Pages (public page)

Hi, I couldn’t find this question here.
I’m sry in advance if it already has been asked before.

Is it possible to watch posts on public facebook pages without being admin on this page?
Is that what is meant by this module: Facebook Pages (public page)?
I already know that if you use this module, you have to establish a connection to your facebook account. Does it have to be an account which owns this page?
You need to do the same using the other module Facebook Pages (without public). What is the difference?

Hi,

Welcome to the Make community!

Yes- you must establish connection to have access to API from your account.

It is exactly as you said- with “Watch posts” you can trigger scenario with posts from pages which you manage, "Watch posts (public page) allows you to trigger scenario when post is publish on public page.
You dont have to manage page to use "Watch posts (public page) module- but it is necessary for “Watch posts” module.
