Feedback on Using XTweetAPI.com - Is It Worth $59/month?

Hey everyone,

I’m currently considering using XTweetAPI.com for my Twitter-related projects. It looks like it has the features I need, but I’m hesitant because the pricing is a bit on the high side at $59 per month.

Has anyone here used XTweetAPI.com before? I’d love to hear your thoughts on its value for the price. Is the functionality worth the cost, in your experience? Any insights would be really helpful!

I only need to auto reply from other twitter accounts where the built in x module doesn’t have.

Thanks in advance!

will subscribing to X API v2 Basic solve my problem and just use the built in make.com twitter module to be able to post to other user’s x/twitter account?

I am not an X/Twitter user, but it seems unnecessary to use a $59 dollar per month API wrapper if you can just use the API directly.

If you have the credentials, you can connect any user account you like.

Again, not an X/Twitter user, but someone who advices you to keep your money in your pocket.

Cheers,
Henk

EDIT: this is if the free plan works for you; you’ll have to enable API access for each individual account

The free API X account doesn’t offer access to other user’s x account. Not sure if getting Basic $100 will be able to reply to other’s posts. I don’t see “reply to post” in make.com twitter module account but only “create a post”

I am looking at it now, it somewhat baffles me that they charge $100 and call it ‘For hobbyists or prototypes’ lol

The free account doesn’t offer access to other users’ X accounts indeed, that is why you would need to set up an app per X account and use the HTTP module inside Make so that each connection uses its own X App with their dedicated user.

But indeed, it doesn’t seem like you will be able to read or reply to others’ posts. Maybe XTweetAPI.com is the way to go, then.

Good luck!

The tweetapi.com doesn’t have enough reviews even their website is not updated. what i want to confirm if getting the X Basic account will get me access to reply to other’s x account. If yes, how to do it via make.com twitter module .

The TweetAPI.com link you provided redirects to Twitter API, which only includes a set of GET endpoints.

On the other hand, http://XTweetAPI.com allows replying to tweets and more. According to their website, they offer a 3-day free trial. So it is worth of try.
