What are you trying to achieve?

Hey everyone, I’m completely new to Make.com and have a question. I’ll keep it short.

I have a Shopify store, and whenever an order comes in, the customer receives an email via the “SMTP Email” module in Make.com. So far, this works perfectly.

However, I also receive a notification from Shopify about the new order in my Gmail inbox. (LABEL : shopify)

How can I set up Make.com so that, when the SMTP Email module sends the email to the customer, my Shopify notification email in my Gmail inbox is automatically marked as read at the same time?

Steps taken so far

shopify trigger , delay 250sec, delay 250 sec , email SMTP.

You need to search for the email before you can mark it as read.

To do this, you can try using the Email “Get Emails” module —

Returns emails that match the specified criteria.
