Guidance to set up Make MCP on Perplexity Connector

Hi,

You have released skills for Claude Make Skills for Claude — Build Make Automation with AI
Yet I use Perplexity Connectors and I need help and guidance on how to set this up because it does not work properly. I don’t use Computer yet (so I would not upload SKILLS files in the space as I would not be using Computer), just Perplexity Connectors via chat.

So I have created a custom connector myself using: https://mcp.make.com, but I haven’t uploaded any single skill file. Which ones?

There are too many that can be ingested by the Files modality of Perplexity.

I appreciate some guidance on how to configure this for Perplexity Connector and Claude Sonnet as the engine.

The Make MCP connector setup can be tricky without proper documentation on which skill files to upload. Since you’re not using Computer mode, focus on just the core Make automation skills rather than uploading everything. The connector URL looks right but you’ll probably need to cherry-pick specific skill files that match your automation use cases. Check if Make has published a recommended subset of skills for Perplexity integration rather than trying to ingest their entire skill library.
