Help mapping webhook output bundle to google sheets

Hi,

I have a webhook receiving data as it arrives. I want to send some of that data to a google sheet. In order to choose the fields I want to export to my spreadsheet, I use the mapping ability which requires me to run a scenario so that I have an output bundle to work with.

The problem is, the scenario editor is not consistent when it comes to showing that “1” bubble where I can preview the output bundle and then have the option to configure mapping in google sheets module.

I thought I found an ideal solution when I was reading about the ‘Choose where to start’ on polling triggers but this is not available on webhooks.

So while I have no problem receiving the data (it shows up in my ‘History’ consistently), I am having trouble accessing the output bundle directly from the Scenario Editor so I can configure the mapping.

Is there any way to use the output bundles from my history to configure field mapping I want to extract to my spreadsheet?

If the Custom Webhook is not consistent, that means the incoming data is also not consistent.

There’s not much you can do about it except to manually send through the structure/fields that you want to map.

Alternatively, you can manually type the mapping reference to the variable you want even though you can’t select it in the variables panel.
