Hello everyone
I’m looking for guidance on automating a revenue sharing and instructor payout process based on attendance data exported as a CSV file from a booking platform
Each month I receive a CSV file with information about classes, instructors, and attendees
I want to automate reading this file, applying payout rules depending on attendee types, deducting any fees, calculating payouts per instructor, and generating summary reports with earnings and profits
My questions are:
Is this kind of automation possible with Make.com’s free plan?
Can it be done without paid external tools or scripts?
What is the best way to parse CSV files, apply conditional logic for payouts, and organize results in spreadsheets or reports?
Should I use Google Sheets for calculations or do everything within Make?
Any advice, templates, or examples would be greatly appreciated
