I have a retail store and a facebook business page that I’ve been using make.com to help create posts for products we have in the store and advertise them to our customers.
I’m trying to set it up to where when things have been posted for over a week, they are reposted at a further discount.
Everything was working fine and I was bundling them in groups of 5 posts at a time and sending them this morning. After 39 successful posts, every link that is saved from my FB Watch Posts module takes me to the same FB page saying
" This content isn’t available right now
When this happens, it’s usually because the owner only shared it with a small group of people, changed who can see it or it’s been deleted."
These links were working moments earlier, and now ALL of them take me to that same page. I have 39 posts that tell me this is possible to do, but now all of a sudden, the links and perma links i saved from the watch post module have stopped working. Has anyone else had this problem? The shared link is from our fb business page, we’ve changed no privacy settings, we don’t have any issues with fb as far as I have been able to check. I’m just totally stumped and feeling defeated because logically all of this should work how it was this morning. Nothing changed on my end from the post links working to them now not working. And even the ones that worked this morning no longer work. I can see the ones that worked still look ok on my page, but if i try to copy/paste the links into my browser, even the ones that worked this morning no longer work. If you need more info, just lmk. Thanks in advance for any help. I’m so close to getting this thing working right, this is one of the last processes I need running correctly!
here is a link to the discord showing what happens to every link now:
update the links seemed to be working again, but then after a few more runs, the same error with the links occur. I’m starting to think now it has something to do with some sort of spam post protection or something on fb’s end. But if that’s the case, I would need to somehow be able to time each post a few minutes apart. That would be great, but does anyone know how to do that on a bundle of approx. 100 rows? In the FB module, I have an option to choose one time when it posts ALL of them. But is there a way to set them to post in 5 minute intervals? I’ll update the title to reflect this new question. Thanks again.
FINAL UPDATE I added a 3m sleep before the Facebook module, and it seems to satisfy fb. So as a final rule of caution, I would advise adding a wait time between posts when sending multiple posts at once.
