HTTP Get File operation is not supported

Hi everyone. Hoping someone may have some advice on how to fix this issue I’ve run into. I have a scenario that watches a Survey123 form and then brings that data in and uploads pictures from the survey to a Google Drive folder using the HTTP get file module to fetch the attachment. Starting on Wednesday Nov. 13th. the HTTP Get File module is no longer pulling in pictures from Survey123 and instead is passing on a text file labeled “file.json”. This file is then being uploaded to the Google Drive. This particular scenario I’ve had up and running since May of 2024 with no issues. Nothing in the scenario has changed. Adding to that, I then noticed that all of the other scenarios I have running which are pulling pictures from other Survey123 forms are doing the same thing.

I have gone and reauthorized and then verified my connections to Survey123. All of the fields of data come through from Survey123 just fine, so I don’t believe that the problem is a result of authorization with Survey123. I have also gone and built a new scenario watching a Survey123 form and using the HTTP Get File module and it’s still having the problem. So I’m less convinced that it’s an issue with me or my scenario specifically and likely more to do with some issue between Make and Survey123, but I’m not totally sure.

Has anyone run into this before? Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Solved.

ESRI was able to help me resolve the issue. They released a patch last week to address a bug on their end. The intended resolution was to change permissions and accessibility, unfortunately end users weren’t notified. Below is the bug information from ESRI.

-Discussed BUG-000170662 (Attachments in a publicly shared hosted feature layer in ArcGIS Online are accessible through a URL without a token when setting ‘editors can’t see any features, even those they add’ is selected.)

The solution is to go to any of the hosted feature layers in your ArcGIS organization that are having the issue and go into the layer settings and change what features editors can see to either all features or their own features. Picture attached.
