Recently the “Deep Research” feature from OpenAI has been released for API use, and Make.com allows this feature too. But all OpenAI calls from Make seem to expire in exactly 5 minutes, which is not long enough to perform deep research. So currently all my deep research calls lead to time-out errors. How can we fix this?

Did this solve it? I was researching and saw that n8n also has execution timeouts, so I’m not sure switching over would actually fix the main issue. Ideally I’d like to stay on one platform for now, until it makes sense to move everything to a more sophisticated setup like AWS. But this issue is pretty large scale for our ops.

Same problem with Perplexity Deep Resaerch which can take up to 10 minutes to complete from the WebUI
It is essential that we are able to adjust the timeout for the modules when they use Deep Research models so they can complete succesfully.
