I am trying to migrate Notion Database to new Modules which support Data Sources.
However, when i want to create Module → Create a Data Source Item, it only shows Public Connection, and not the Internal connection, as it used to show for Legacy version .
Hi, it looks like the new modules use OAuth 2.0 for authentication, and not the manual Internal Integration token as in legacy modules. But if you use a legacy module to create an Internal connection (inputting the Internal Integration Token), it will also work on new modules.
You can disregard that statement; it’s not accurate. I checked further and noticed that only the “Create a data source item” requires a new public connection. It looks like a bug, so I believe it’s best to submit a support ticket.
Recieved the response on ticket, they haven’t implemented Internal Connection for New Notion modules.
Not sure why they chose to ignore that, I have tested Notion’s REST api to create page in datasource and it works.
Means Make’s team decided to ignore this feature.
Not sure what make team is thinking, but if you are developping for your client, then you need to ask them to login and authenticate the notion public connection?
or Create a use just for this purpose?
