Issue retrieving values from API HTTP Headers response

Hello, wonder if somebody could help me with an issue retrieving values from Headers from API HTTP module. Attched screenshot shows 2 values in Collections 12 and 13 which I need to re-use in further HTTP modules and parser doesn’t extract them, the only one which does parse and can be re-used is “set-cookie”. I have tried to add HTTP Retrieve Headers module, use various functions :slight_smile:

{{map(8.headers; “value”; “name”; “cst”)}}

{{get(map(8.headers; “value”; “name”; “cst”); 1)}}

{{toCollection(8.headers; “name”; “value”)}}

{{get(map(8.headers; “value”); 12)}}

All keep returning empty values. Also attached example Headers return. I’m on Free plan not sure if that makes a difference.

Hey Majo,

this one should work:

{{first(map(8.headers; "value"; "name"; "cst"))}}

Its similar to the get one you have, not sure why yours is not returning anything.

Thanks for the reply, I think I have seen that option as well, have tried again and see attached setup and output. To me it looks like while the output exists in HTTP it isn’t saved and available further or is discarded because parser can’t deal with or something like that. It’s weird it can parse one value and none of the others and the commands you guys have recommened in all the posts also don’t work even they should.

Sorry on the screenshot the HTTP module is running on its own. So you either only ran that module or it didn’t return anything. Can you confirm you are running the scenario it self and not individual modules and can you check the output of the module it self?

Hi Stoyan,

Just wanted to provide an update, while I had all modules connected when I was troubleshooting I was clicking on each module individually and make it run and that’s why it didn’t work. Once I started to troubleshoot by running the whole scenario each time from the trigger it started to work fine.
