Lets talk about the make connector for wordpress

Hello everyone,

I use make.com a lot, especially with WordPress since many of my clients use it. Currently, the only way to integrate make.com with WordPress is by using the provided plugin. While it works perfectly on some websites, on others it doesn’t work at all, which is both random and odd.

Why don’t they use app passwords like everyone else? Why is it necessary to use a plugin to get official WordPress support? It doesn’t make sense to me. I recently had a client for whom I wanted to set up some automations on their WordPress site, and as soon as I installed the make plugin, I couldn’t edit any of the pages. It’s strange that an automation plugin could cause such issues, and I wonder if anyone else has experienced this.

That’s a great idea! I’m sure others would agree that Wordpress app passwords is a nice feature to have.

You can submit this suggestion to the Idea exchange, under App improvement ideas

Don’t forget to search for it first, just in case someone already suggested it, so that you don’t end up creating a duplicate.
