You can get the current date using the special Make variable now
e.g.:
{{now}}
To format the date into whichever format you want, you can use the built-in function formatDate
According to the Tokens you can use to format a date variable, you can use DD/MM/YYYY.
e.g.:
{{ formatDate(now; "DD/MM/YYYY") }}
