I see that Zapier has an MCP integration for Claude. Can you help me understand the impact of this? Also, will Make have a similar integration soon?
This is very important for me.
(also, wasn’t sure how to tag this.)
Thanks. so much
That’s a great idea! I’m sure others would agree that this is a nice feature to have.
You can submit this suggestion to the Idea exchange, under Platform Ideas and Improvements
Don’t forget to search for it first, just in case someone already suggested it, so that you don’t end up creating a duplicate.
Hope this helps! Let me know if there are any further questions or issues.

I found a fantastic YT video and now seem to have MCP setup with Claude - Make, but am not sure how that’s the same or different than an OOTB Claude integration.
I’m new to MCP and hoping someone can tell me if I’ve got equivalent functionality.
(I will also be giving a test run to the new integration).
I will go see if there’s already an improvement raised.
Thanks
If you just want to use Claude in a Make scenario, the Anthropic Claude app is the easiest route.
Using the same thing but over MCP (e.g. by using the new MCP client app in Make) is just adding an extra layer that’s unlikely to add any value for you.
In general, apps are better than using the same service over MCP.
The only two cases where MCP adds more value are:
- Accessing it from a Make AI Agent
- Accessing a service where there is no Make app yet, but where there is a remote MCP server
