Need Make.com Expert to Debug & Launch Existing Outreach Automation

Absolutely. Since you’re posting under Hire a Pro → Hire Help, I’d make it clear that you want someone to debug and finish an existing Make build, not rebuild everything from scratch.

Title:
Need Make.com Expert to Debug & Launch Existing Outreach Automation

Post body:

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for an experienced Make.com professional to help me diagnose and finish an existing automation for my staffing company.

The system is already largely built and includes:

  • Apify / Indeed job sourcing
  • Apollo contact search and enrichment
  • AI-based decision-maker ranking
  • HubSpot company/contact handling
  • Gmail draft creation
  • Manual approval before sending
  • A separate outreach sending scenario
  • Day 4 and Day 9 follow-ups
  • Reply, bounce, opt-out, and manual-review handling
  • Duplicate-send protection using deterministic action keys
  • Pending-before-send protection and failure handling
  • Make Data Stores for outreach status and action history

The main issue is with the dedicated Maverick Outreach Sending scenario.

The scenario currently validates successfully with no blocking errors, but Run Once ends before the first module executes.

I also cloned the scenario into a separate runtime-test copy, and the clone shows the same behavior.

The original scenario had an older BlueprintValidationError, but those issues were corrected and the current blueprint now validates cleanly.

I have already checked the external connections:

  • Gmail connection is available and read access works
  • Make AI connection is available
  • no obvious expired or disconnected connection is shown

I am looking for someone who can:

  • audit the existing build
  • diagnose why execution stops before module 1
  • inspect the scenario/runtime configuration and connections
  • fix only what is actually broken
  • safely test the sending flow
  • help me get the production scenario launched
  • review the build for any serious reliability issues before launch

Important: I do not want the system rebuilt from scratch unless there is a genuine technical reason. A lot of work has already gone into the current setup.

Please reply or message me with:

  • your experience with complex make scenarios
  • whether you have debugged scenarios that fail during initialization / before the first module runs
  • your hourly rate or estimated diagnostic/fix cost
  • your availability

I can provide screenshots, execution IDs, scenario details, and a sanitized blueprint after we connect.

Thanks!

Hi Noble — the detail that both the original scenario and its clone stop before module 1 is helpful. I’d check the trigger and run configuration before changing any of the outreach logic.

My relevant work is in CRM and API workflows, including HubSpot handoffs, duplicate protection, and failure handling. For your setup, I’d start with a sanitized blueprint and the Run Once details, then isolate the failure and test without sending live outreach.

I can do an initial diagnostic at $40/hour, capped at two hours ($80). If the fix is small, I can handle it within that time; if it needs more work, I’ll explain the cause and agree on the repair scope with you first.

What is the first module in the sending scenario?

Hi Noble,

Right now your sourcing, enrichment and drafts all work, and not one hiring manager hears from you because the last step never starts. I get that sending scenario running today, so the companies your build already found get their first email this week, with your Day 4 and Day 9 follow-ups behind it.

Your clone failing exactly like the original tells me the outreach logic is fine and the problem is in how the run starts. The attached page shows where I look first. Nothing gets rebuilt, and nothing goes out to a real prospect until you say OK.

$90 fixed: launched today, or fully refunded.

Reply here with the sanitized blueprint and one execution ID, and you get the cause within two hours.

Hi Noble, one detail in your post stands out: the clone fails exactly like the original, so I’d rule out scenario state and look inside the blueprint or a shared dependency like a data store, data structure or connection. Validation doesn’t test runtime initialization, so a module can pass and still never start. I’d bisect from module 1 to find it, and no rebuild is needed.

I’m a freelance Make.com consultant with 3 years of experience. My rate is $35/hour, with the diagnostic capped at 3 hours ($105) and a fixed quote for the fix once the cause is clear. I have 15 hours a week available and can also debug live on a screen share if you prefer.

I’ve also sent you a detailed DM with more information.

Hi, a scenario that validates cleanly but stops before module 1 on Run Once is usually not a logic problem. In my experience it is one of three things: the trigger module (often a Data Store “search” or a webhook/instant trigger) returns zero bundles so nothing starts, the scenario’s sequential processing or incomplete executions setting blocks the run while an older execution is stuck, or a connection/data structure referenced in the trigger was swapped during the blueprint fix and points to a different team or store. The fact that the clone behaves the same points at the trigger/input side rather than at the modules themselves.

I would start with the execution log and the trigger’s output, check the incomplete executions queue and scheduling settings, then fix only what is broken, test the sending flow against a test recipient with your approval gate intact, and do a short reliability review (duplicate protection, error handlers, follow-up timing) before launch. No rebuild.

I work daily with Make, HubSpot, Gmail and API integrations. Diagnosis is usually 1-2 hours; my rate is 45 USD/h, and I’m available this week. Send me the execution IDs and the sanitized blueprint at [email protected].

Hi Noble — AutomateForge can diagnose this without rebuilding your existing system. Since both the original and cloned scenarios stop before module 1, I’ll first audit the trigger/run configuration, scheduling state, shared Data Stores, connections, and runtime initialization—not the downstream outreach logic.

USD 35 fixed diagnostic: I’ll identify the root cause, provide the exact repair steps, and safely test without sending live outreach. If it’s a small configuration issue, I’ll fix it within the diagnostic. I’m available to start immediately.

Please share the sanitized blueprint, one execution ID, and the first module’s type/configuration privately.

Hi @Noble_Kaur, Welcome to make community

I would love to collaborate with you on this

I am the CEO of Pathfinder Automation Solutions work on scenarios this size regularly (Apify, Apollo, HubSpot, Gmail with approval gates, data store state and dedupe keys), and yes, I’ve fixed plenty of these trigger-level exits.

$40/hr, or a fixed $150 diagnostic covering the audit, root cause, and the fix if it’s configuration, which it most likely is. Anything bigger quoted before I touch it. I won’t rebuild what already works. Available this week, US hours.

Send the sanitized blueprint, a couple of execution IDs from the failed runs, and a screenshot of module 1’s settings and I’ll tell you what’s happening before you pay anything.

Hi Noble. Answering your list in order.

  1. Experience: our production automations run in n8n and code, with dedup keys and failure handling like yours. I don’t claim client work in Make.
  2. Stops before module 1: my first two checks are a Watch trigger set to “from now on” with nothing new to pick up, and a data store or connection the imported blueprint can’t find.
  3. Price: fixed $100 to find and fix the stop, within a day of access. Safe send test, launch and the reliability review after that, $30/h. No rebuild.
  4. Availability: from today, Kyiv time (UTC+3).
I answer for the result, 14 days of fixes included. We use AI tools, and every change goes to your clone first.
Is the first module a trigger or a regular action?

hi, i saw your post about debugging your maverick outreach sending scneario in make that stops right before the first module runs. when a blueprint validates cleanly after fixing a validation error but ends immediately on run once, it is usually caused by a broken root module id in the json flow array, a mismatched make data store reference, or a stuck trigger cursor. i can inspect your blueprint json andfix the exact initialization issue without rebuilding your existing setup

you can check my automation work and portfolio at https://hwork72.carrd.co to see my past projects. i work with zero upfront payment for a flat diagnostic and fix fee of $120, so you pay nothing until i show you a video demo of the scenario executing properly, and i also include 7 to 14 days of free support after launch

could you send over the sanitized blueprint json and a screenshot of the first two modules so i can check the structure right away?

Hi Noble, could you share the sanitized blueprint and the exact error shown when Run Once stops? That would help me assess whether a focused diagnostic is a fit.

Hi Noble, I’d be interested in helping with this. I work with Make.com, complex multi-step workflows, APIs and webhook integrations, including debugging existing automations.

The fact that the scenario validates successfully but stops before the first module executes makes me think the runtime configuration, scenario settings or execution context may be worth checking first.

I’d start by auditing the existing setup, identifying the actual cause, and testing a minimal fix before touching anything that’s already working.

I’ll send you a DM with my experience, availability and portfolio.

Hi @Noble_Kaur,

I read the Maverick Outreach Sending issue. Since the original scenario and its clone both validate but Run Once stops before module 1, I would investigate pre-execution initialization and scenario settings before changing the workflow itself.

My strongest area is debugging API/webhook automations, execution traces, retry and duplicate guards, and manual-approval flows. I would not claim to know the specific cause without seeing the evidence.

I can offer a $90 fixed-price diagnostic: review a sanitized blueprint, relevant Run Once execution IDs/screenshots, and scenario/trigger settings; isolate a reproducible root cause or a clearly documented platform blocker; and deliver a minimal repair plan with acceptance checks. Implementation can be scoped separately after that. No live sending or production changes without approval.

I can start a scoped review this week. Relevant work: AI-Built App Rescue · Production Hardening & Ongoing Care | Strelec Labs

Could you share a redacted execution record and the startup/trigger settings?

Hi Noble,

I’m George from Frontsoft in Romania, with 10 years in software development. I build custom business applications and API integrations.

For the scenario that stops before module 1, I’d review the execution details and a sanitized blueprint, then isolate the failure in your test copy. The diagnostic would cover that failing scenario and give you written findings and a clear repair plan, including how to check the approval step and duplicate protection.

The diagnostic is €100. If you choose Frontsoft to carry out the implementation, the full €100 is deducted from the agreed implementation price.

My background is custom software and integrations. I would review the Make setup before confirming the scope and start date. Could you share the sanitized blueprint and one failed execution ID privately?

Hi — I debug and harden complex Make scenarios (HubSpot/Gmail outreach, Data Stores, follow-up sequences). Happy to audit why Run Once exits before module 1, fix only what’s broken, and smoke-test the send plus the Day 4/9 follow-ups before launch. US/ET hours. A diagnostic/fix pass on an existing build is $250–400 fixed (or hourly if you prefer). Reply or DM and send screenshots, execution IDs and a sanitized blueprint, and I’ll get started.
