Not sure how to update my Shopify Modules

:bullseye: What is your goal?

Send an email to new orders with a specific tag

 What is the problem & what have you tried?

I have had this scenario working for almost 2 years, but it now says I need to update the Shopify modules. They cannot be updated with a click, I need to create new modules… And I don’t seem to find how to replicate the same scenario :smiling_face_with_tear: Please help

Hi @antlengray ,

As of now, there is no automated method available to update the existing Make modules within a scenario. The transition needs to be handled manually by updating the affected modules.

You will need to replace the current module with the appropriate new module and then reconfigure it, ensuring that all required fields, mappings, and settings are properly adjusted to maintain the workflow functionality.

Additionally, the newer modules may follow slightly different logic compared to the previous ones, so it may be necessary to explore the available modules and configure them accordingly to replicate the same functionality within the scenario.

Mohamed Jahar

Do you need to update them though? Is the scenario not running or giving errors?

explain what exactly the scenario does, in lay man terms(no need to use technical terms). Explain how it flows too. If i’m free I’ll share a scenario doing exactly that with updated modules.

I have tried testing, and from what I see, it’s not working :smiling_face_with_tear:

Hi Isidore! So the scenario check if a new order has the tag “UNVERIFIEDADDRESS“ or not. If it does, it send an email (custom HTML) to the person who made the order.

It’s a workflow I have for people to confirm their delivery address basically.

I’ve updated it and shared the link here :backhand_index_pointing_right: Updated Scenario read the instruction and description I provided on it if you encounter any issue.

Hello @antlengray

Have you been able to resolve the issue?

Thank you so much Isidore! Couldn’t find any instructions, though. I’m just not sure what to write here on “Order ID”. As in my old scenario, this used to be literally “2. Order ID” which is not an option now… Thanks again :smiling_face_with_tear: KZ PT: Direccion Invalida - Make.com Automation Scenario

Not yet, on it :upside_down_face: KZ PT: Direccion Invalida - Make.com Automation Scenario

Hope you can help me out Isidore! I’m just one step away from achieving it :innocent:
