Open AI ApI integration

Hey Guys,

Im not sure why i keep getting this error message: The operation failed with an error. [401] You didn’t provide an API key. You need to provide your API key in an Authorization header using Bearer auth (i.e. Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY), or as the password field (with blank username) if you’re accessing the API from your browser and are prompted for a username and password. You can obtain an API key from https://platform.openai.com/account/api-keys.

I have added my API Key - still not sure what the problem is?

Welcome to the Make community!

How did you add your API Key when creating the connection?

You’ll have to set it up correctly again, take screenshots of how you set it up, and then mask the actual key, before sharing them here. This will allow us to look into it further.

For more information, see https://www.make.com/en/help/ai-in-make/openai--dall-e---chatgpt-#connect-openai-to-make-2431753

Hope this helps! Let me know if there are any further questions or issues.

I don’t see anything wrong based on your screenshots.

Most likely it’s a bug, since you cannot insert an incorrect key at time of setup, because it will display this error instead:

You’ll have to contact support to investigate this further.

For technical issues or bugs like this, directly contacting support can often lead to a faster resolution. They have access to your specific account details, scenario and scenario logs, server-side logs, and internal tools and resources, which allows them to investigate more thoroughly than what you have access to. Additionally, sharing sensitive information about your account or scenario might not be suitable for an open forum discussion.

You can open a new ticket here, or if you are unable to login for some reason, you can create another new free account to access the ticketing system (which is only available to logged-in users). Alternatively, you should be able to send an email to helpdesk@make.com and support@make.com and it should create a ticket. After submitting a new ticket, you will receive an automatic confirmation email with the subject “Ticket Created” in the subject. If you do not receive this, try sending the ticket again.

If you manage to get your issue resolved with support, we’d still love to hear about it! Sharing your solution on the forum can help others facing similar problems.

Hope this helps! Let me know if there are any further questions or issues.
